Deal?
Trump has actually announced that a deal with Iran has been struck, though he's kept rather quiet about the specifics. I'd say a return to the status quo ante is not only quite possible but practically inevitable at this point.
Two shots near the WH
Two people were shot during a confrontation with the Secret Service near the White House on Saturday, according to a law enforcement official. The incident occurred at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and 17th Street Northwest. The official said that officers from the Secret Service’s Uniformed Division responded after reports of an individual firing a weapon at the time of the incident. CNN journalists heard what sounded like dozens of gunshots near the White House, triggering a lockdown and a rapid response from the Secret Service.

Rebellion
The Republican majorities in both the Senate and House are showing increasing resistance to Trump these days. True to form, he's responding by doubling down and deliberately stoking tensions. The former president seems to take particular pleasure in watching Republican lawmakers squirm as they're forced to defend his most controversial positions. Meanwhile, he's systematically working to protect his future interests, pulling all sorts of manoeuvres to line his pockets and shield himself and his family from potential tax investigations once he's out of office.
